Mailchimp & Shopify Announce Their Divorce
Forget Harry and Meghan, Brad and Angelina, Kim and Kayne – the biggest breakup news on the airwaves this morning is the impending divorce between Shopify and Mailchimp.
Now as always, there are rumours and allegations flying from both sides (you can read a bit more about it here) but the main thing friends of both the bride and groom* want to know is what happens now?
Well, in the immortal words inscribed in large friendly letters on the cover of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy:
And here’s why…
Firstly, Mailchimp have advised that their Mailchimp for Shopify integration will continue to function as is until the 12th May 2019.
Secondly, Mailchimp have offered a few work around options for continuing to use both Mailchimp and Shopify after this date. You can read about those here.
